Lead Tests for Kids

Here in our state, kids had to be tested for lead every couple of years. Even our house is new, we had it built in 2000, my kids had to go through the test. It's state-mandated and is covered by our insurance. It's because there are a lot of old houses in the state where the paint used many years ago has lead. Lead is dangerous, and small children can ingest this without the parent knowing about it. Since babies and toddlers like to put their fingers in their mouths, it may be possible that the window sill or wall they touch has some paint chips with lead and ingesting it will cause lead poisoning. I don't know why there aren't a lot of ADs about lawyers looking for people with lead poisoning, unlike Mesothelioma lawyers who advertise on daytime shows.
